is-style-plain\">Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nirik supported a Japan-based large system integrator in its <strong>new business development efforts<\/strong>, focusing on identifying and engaging potential overseas partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the client had already been actively searching for partners by attending exhibitions and events, Nirik proposed a different approach:<br><strong>shifting from \u201csearching for partners\u201d to \u201cbeing approached with proposals.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To achieve this, we planned and executed <strong>reverse pitches<\/strong>, designed to clearly communicate the client\u2019s interests and collaboration themes, and to attract inbound proposals from overseas companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"320\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of this project, <strong>two reverse pitch sessions<\/strong> were conducted:<br>one during an official event held within a large-scale international exhibition (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.taitronics.tw\/en\/index.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.taitronics.tw\/en\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TAITRONICS &amp; AIoT Taiwan<\/a>), and another at a separately organized side event (5G Forum), both targeting the global market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This initiative was carried out in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sparklabstaiwan.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.sparklabstaiwan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>SparkLabs TAIWAN<\/strong><\/a> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.taitra.org.tw\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.taitra.org.tw\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TAITRA<\/a><\/strong>, leveraging strong ties with the local startup ecosystem and trade organizations in Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-plain\">Project Background<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The client was seeking overseas partners to accelerate its new business development initiatives.<br>However, the conventional approach of identifying and approaching potential partners one by one presented several challenges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Inefficiency in partner discovery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Difficulty in clearly communicating collaboration themes and expectations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Risk of misalignment during early-stage discussions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Given these challenges, and leveraging our understanding of the Taiwanese market and local business ecosystem, we proposed <strong>reverse pitching<\/strong> as a more efficient and strategic method for partner exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-plain\">Scope of Support and Key Approach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-plain\">Reverse Pitch Concept Design<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rather than simply arranging speaking opportunities, we supported the project from the <strong>concept and structure design stage<\/strong> of the reverse pitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Defining priority themes for new business development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing messages that encourage overseas companies to actively propose collaboration ideas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Structuring the pitch to go beyond a company introduction and clearly express partnership intent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal was to ensure that the reverse pitch functioned as a <strong>practical partner discovery tool<\/strong>, not just a presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex questions and areas of interest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentation structure and storytelling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Messaging tailored to overseas audiences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-ecb84aab wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-plain\">Post-Event Follow-up Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the events, we handled the follow-up process by organizing the contacts generated through the reverse pitch and supporting the transition from initial engagement to concrete discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This helped ensure that connections made during the events did not remain one-off contacts, but instead moved forward into <strong>meaningful business conversations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-plain\">Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connections were established with approximately <strong>20 overseas companies<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Around <strong>nine companies submitted concrete inbound partnership proposals<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By shifting from an outbound search model to an inbound, proposal-driven approach, the client was able to engage with <strong>highly relevant partners in a more efficient manner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
